How does ESS Work?
Holtec uses a unique methodology called HOME (Holtec Outsourcing Model
for Engineering) for rapid identification, specification of service level requirements
and quanitification of the benefits of outsourcing engineering activities.Typically, some
basic engineering activities, many detailed engineering activities, most computer-aided
modeling, design, drafting and support activities can be potentially outsourced and
managed remotely without significant strategic or operational risks.
After the outsourcing specification
process is complete, we structure flexible relationships with our ESS customers as per their requirements for ad-hoc work, project-to-project
associations, standby arrangements on an exclusive basis, long-term strategic outsourcing
or joint-ventures. For longer-term contracts, we can make specific investments in
recruitment, training, technology, and infrastructure.
