Plant Audit for optimisation / balancing / benchmarking – Aditya Birla Group of Companies

To add value to plant operations and address all inter-related issues in the four cement plants (8 kilns) of Aditya Birla Group viz. Aditya Cement, Grasim Cement, Rajashree Cement and Vikram Cement an integrated assignment of performance assessment was carried out.

Salient Features

  • Performance assessment for all the unit companies of the group
  • Identified areas for capacity enhancement of upto 27% and 12% with and without incremental investment, respectively.
  • The energy balance was carried out to identify areas for savings upto 10% in power and upto 15% in fuel
  • Bench marking of technical design / capacity data like heat and power consumption

  • Estimation of time required for implementing various recommendations and interlinking them with the existing equipment
