Holtec Consulting Pvt Ltd, under contract to Grasim Industries Ltd., were responsible for detailed engineering and project management of the 0.8 mio tpa cement plant, installed at Reddipalayam, Perambulur district, Tamil Nadu

As project engineers Holtec performed the following work within 18 month project schedule.

  • Basic engineering for the plant from process technological considerations.
  • Procurement of plant machinery and equipment under shopping mode (involving total of 27 packages)
  • Procurement of services for construction and erection (involving total of 6 packages).
  • Detailed engineering for the project encompassing civil, mechanical, electrical and control & instrumentation disciplines. Holtec released over 1000 drg's and processed over 2000 drgs from various suppliers for the project.
  • Provide designer's supervision during construction, erection, trial runs and commissioning phases.
  • Project management of entire project covering procurement, expediting, construction and trial phases.
